Privacy-first tools. No subscriptions. No BS.
We build tools for people who are tired of being the product. Free, open source, and obsessed with making things stupidly easy.
Tired of being the product
EZCorp started with a simple frustration: every "free" tool came with hidden costs.
Analytics tracking your every move. Data quietly shipped to advertisers. "Free" tools that were really just data harvesting operations in disguise. The math never added up — until you realized you were the math.
So we built something different. Tools that are genuinely free. No tracking. No data collection. No strings. They run locally whenever possible, which is almost always, because keeping your data on your device is the whole point.
No sales team — we have nothing to sell. No privacy policy full of loopholes — we don't collect data in the first place. Just tools that respect you.
You deserve better than being tracked. So here we are.
What we believe
Every design and copy decision traces back to one of these. No exceptions.
Privacy First
Your data stays yours. No tracking, no analytics, no sneaky pixels. If it touches a server unnecessarily, we cut it.
Radically Simple
Three clicks max. If a tool needs a manual, we failed. Interfaces that work without a tutorial.
Free & Open
Open source, transparent, no hidden agendas. Inspect the code. Audit the privacy claims. Fork it if you want.
Delightfully Irreverent
We don't take ourselves too seriously. Bold copy. Punchy UX. Never boring. Software should be a little fun.
Local-first, by default
Every tool runs on your machine first. The cloud is the exception, not the rule.
Your files never leave your device
When you convert a file, search a codebase, or scan for duplicates, the work happens on your hardware. No upload. No "secure transfer." Nothing to leak.
Open source, all the way down
Every line is on GitHub. Inspect it. Audit it. Fork it. Submit a PR. The privacy claims aren't promises — they're code you can read.
Free, forever
No premium tier. No feature gates. No "free for 14 days then we charge your card." What you see is what you get.
